The tower of St Augustine is all that remains of the 11th
century church which was destroyed in the 1666 fire, rebuilt by Wren, renovated
further in the 1800s and then bombed in 1941.
The surviving tower has been
incorporated into the St Paul’s Cathedral Choir School.
